Hand in Hand Project to Reduce the Severity of Poverty – Phase II

Project Description:

Families that have moved from Mansheyet Nasser and El Doweika to Haram City and Masaken Othman are featured with doing business in local markets. Such markets are not available in their new communities in 6th of October City, and most youth lack corporate work culture. This caused a surge in unemployment amongst those youth, leaving an effect on education, health and other aspects of life, along with additional burdens imposed by COVID-19. Hence, the project contributes to limiting those challenges, through building the educational capacity and welfare of primary stage students, provide precautionary health services, supporting casual labor affected by COVID-19, availing health services and increasing awareness of targeted groups, providing job opportunities to increase the income of targeted women, and providing financial inclusion for targeted groups. The project targets 4,285 beneficiaries.
