Digital Education in Schools (Phase 2)

Project Description:

The Digital Schools Project implemented by Assiut Childhood and Development Association, funded by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and Orange Egypt for Telecommunications, is an initiative towards the advancement of primary education using information technology, by providing each student with a tablet, and supplying the class with a projector. The project is implemented within 15 community schools (450 students), under the “Schools for Egypt- Assuit” project in partnership with Orascom Construction. The aim of the project is to develop student’s technological literacy in addition to giving them access to engaging learning resource, that aid the educational process.
